The Algerian referee of the match pitting Senegal against Uganda, Mohamed Benouza has been accused of favoritism towards the hosts. The match that took place last weekend in Kampala (Uganda) counted for matchday two Africa zone qualifiers for the 2014 world cup. At the death of the encounter which was led by visiting Senegal, Uganda equalized on a penalty highly criticized by the Senegalese delegation.  Reacting in a newspaper about the issue, the referee reiterated that there was a foul in the penalty area and rejected any accusation. While competent Senegalese authorities look forward to stepping in, the Algerian football federation has suspended Mr Benouza for the rest of this season
