Angola: Romeu Filemon replaces Vidigal
Romeu Filemon has replaced Lito Vidigal as coach of the Angolan national football team. The appointment was done earlier this week by the country’s football federation, FAF following a deal with Vidigal. While negotiations are currently going on for the appointment of a foreign coach, the national team will be under Romeu Filemon. This situation comes at a period when Angola are preparing for their encounters against Liberia and Uganda counting for the 2013 Afcon and the 2014 World cup qualifiers. Romeu Filemon has served as coach of the Under 20 national football team, Atletico do Namibe, Benfica do Lubango, Academica do Soyo, Santos FC and the actual 1o de Agosto.
