The qualified teams are paired as follows: El Hilal(Sudan) – ASO Chlef(Algeria); MAS de Fès(Morocco) – Zamalek(Egypt); Espérance(Tunisia) – Dynamos(Zimbabwe); TP Mazembe(DR Congo) – El Merreikh(Sudan).

Analysts say the encounters will be open as most of the teams are faring well in their home championship.
