CHAN 2014: Congo squad
The Congolian local national team will be marking its first appearance in the brief history of CHAN competitions after winning the qualification ticket from RD Congo (1-0) and (1-2).
Congo will be playing Ghana in the first round January the 13th before facing Ethiopia and Libya in group C matches.
In 2009 the Congolians were qualified to the second round after Tchad withdrawal. But their Journey ended in the second round as they were defeated by their rivals RD Congo 3-0 and 1-2.
In 2011 Congo hasn’t also managed to qualify to the final round for the second time.
