Côte D’Ivoire: Drogba to be sue for breach of contract
Côte D’Ivoire’s international striker Didier Drogba could be sued for breach of contract by his now “former” club Shanghai Shenhua( Chinese Super League).
According to the club, Drogba who finalized a two year deal with Turkish side Galatasaray early this week is still a player of Shanghai Shenhua.
Shanghai Shenhua published on his website that they are “deeply chocked” and that they will defend their interest by providing the FIFA with the necessary proofs that Drogba is still under contract with them.
Last summer, the Ivoirian striker signed an 18 – month contract in the tune of 6 million Euro and a salary of 15,000 by match plus bonuses of 4 million.
The Ivoirian top scorer, who is yet to score in the Orange African Cup of Nation 2013, has played 11 games for Shenhua scoring eight goals.
