Gabon: Ecuele Manga to absent AFCON qualies

Gabon and Lorient’s central defender, Ecuele Manga , would not play the third round of the African Cup of Nations(AFCON) qualifiers against Togo September 8. He sustained an injury during the opener of the French Ligue 1 last Sunday in challenge with PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to the club’s physician, Manga shall be out of the pitch for at least six months
