Gabon signs Paulo Duarte
Shortly after his dismissal in Burkina Faso, Paulo Duarte has been signed as the new coach of the Gabon national football team. The Portuguese who replaces Gernot Rohr has as main duty to qualify the panthers for the 2013 Africa cup of nations to take place in South Africa. Renewable after two years, the contract which has been signed in the presence of the Gabon Minister of sports, Séraphin Moundounga and the Vice president of the country’s football federation (FEGAFOOT), Jean De Dieu Mouckagni stipulates that the new coach also act as the national technical director with four assistants. Duarté who would want to organize football in Gabon even at the junior level also want to qualify the country for the 2014 world cup that takes place in Brazil.
