Kenya’s Harambee Stars- two players recalled
The duo ,according to head coach Francis Kimanzi are expected to link up with the rest on sunday at the Moi International Sports centre Kasarani.
Ochieng has been called up due to a striking crisis in the national team, with key men Dennis Oliech, Allan Wanga and Bob Mugalia’s availability not guaranteed.
Nzomo on the other hand has had a steady season for Mathare and will add to the midfield options.
The additions will bring the number of players in camp to 24.
No foreign based players have yet been called up by the technical bench, which is preparing for a number of key qualifying matches in June 2012.
The national soccer team was forced to break due to unavailability of Kasarani hostels. The team has been preparing for the upcoming 2013 Africa Cup of Nations second leg qualifier match against Togo and 2014 World Cup group qualifiers against Namibia and
Malawi in June.
The players converge every Sunday after featuring for their clubs and train on Monday to Thursday then break camp for weekend clashes.
Midweek Kenyan Premier League fixtures are the only interruptions welcome in the camp.
