Kenya’s Victor Wanyama snubs Man United move
Kenyan international Victor Wanyama has committed to play yet again for Scotland League Champions Celtic after snubbing Manchester United’s move to sign him.
However according to Daily record publication, the Kenyan midfielder
hinted that he was open to an open exit.
Manchester United were linked with a late January bid for the Kenya
midfielder in an attempt to fill the gap to be left by Paul Scholes
when he retires.
“I can confirm to you that I will be at Celtic,”Wanyama told the Daily Record.
“We are playing well and our Champions League dream is on right now,
so I am looking forward to the big game against Juventus.
“A lot has been said about my intended move but I have not given it much thought and even my manager feels I should play until the end of the season for Celtic.
“Then, from that point, the doors can be open for a move.”said Wanyama.
Wanyama has been linked to a move to English Premier League giants
Manchester United for a better part of the transfer window.
