After recording two shocking draws, Nigeria’s efforts at South Africa 2013 paid off last night as they beat Ethiopia 2-0 to qualify for the quarterfinal. Moses scored twice from penalties to deliver the Super Eagles.

Speaking after the match, head coach, Stephen Keshi lauded the outstanding performance of Sunday Mba in the midfield. He also revealed that Sunday is going to be part of his plan to build the team around experienced youngsters such as Joseph Yobo, goalkeeper Victor Enyeama and John Obi Mikel. As for their triumph against Ethiopia, Stephen Keshi dedicated the win to all Nigerians the world over. His main focus presently is their quarterfinal game against favorites, Ivory Coast Saturday in Rustenburg. “I have a plan in my head and I need to work on it in order to make sure it comes right. This is a matter between me and my player, just us”, the coach revealed.
