Orange 2012 Afcon qualifiers :130 Million FCFA for the Menas

The money is to help prepare them for their crucial Orange 2012 Afcon qualifier against Sierra Leone on June 4 ; a decision that was adopted in the council of ministers on Wednesday.The Government equally announced the personal support of all government ministers to ensure the team prepares the game in good condition.Niger who beat Egypt last October at the Stade général Seyni Kountché equally defeated Sierra Leone 2-1 during the away leg.However,their first outing was marred by a two nil defeat to South Africa which leaves the Menas second in the group. “ We are second in our group and still have high chances of making it through” says Colonel Djibrilla Hima Hamidou,President of the Niger football federation,FENIFOOT.
