Orange Caf Champions League: “Our last win puts us in a strong position”-Hilal coach Micho

The Serbian was satisfied with his team’s 2-1 win over Cotonsport of Garoua last Sunday but was unhappy with the team’s performance in general. However, he feels the victory puts them in pole position to go through to the next round.

“We are happy with win but we are not excited with the performance. There are many reasons behind that performance,” he told cafonline.com.

“Firstly we played against champions with quality individuals and who worked very hard collectively. Secondly most of our players are fasting the holly month Ramadan.”

“We have a long way to go, but is easier to work with 7 points picked up from three matches. Am happy with the points but am not satisfied with my team’s performance.”
