Zimbabwe/PSL: Mazivisa scores brace against How Mine
A brace by Nelson Mazivisa and two other goals from Charles Sibanda and Ali Sadiki gave FC Platinum a thrashing 4-1 win over How Mine in their matchday-2 game of the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.
The encounter took place yesterday at the Mandava stadium with Sibanda opening the score in the 13th minute from a penalty. Height after, a corner kick by Sadiki was miss managed by How Mine keeper who punched the ball into his own net. Before Mazivisa’s strike in the 35th, How Mine had pulled one back through Mupera. Platinum lead the first half 3-1 but this seemed not enough as Mazivisa completed his brace in the 70th sealing the 4-1 victory. Platinum who had a positive start of the season with a 2-1 win over Buffaloes currently lead the tables with 6 points. After beating Harare City 2-0, Highlanders are second with six points also. Meanwhile, Harare, Buffaloes, Trible B and Shabanie Mine are already well positioned in the danger zone with no win recorded after two rounds.
