Canada to hold Nigeria educational fair
About sixty Canadian educational institutions would participate in the 11th edition of the Canadian educational fair in Nigeria, according to Mr. Marcello DiFranco, Deputy High Commissioner to Abuja on Tuesday.The educational institutions, which would participate in the fair, include universities and colleges.
Mr. DiFranco stated that the fair would be held from 21 to 25 January in Lagos in order to persuade Nigerian students to study in Canada.
He pointed out that the institutions would present their programmes and experts, who would assist Nigerian parents in their decision-making regarding schools and courses for their children and also create awareness among Nigerians about Canadian educational institutions.
“The fair is free of charge for students, parents, parent-teacher associations and staff from secondary schools. Representatives of participating schools and institutions from across Canada will
highlight the advantages of studying in Canada,” he said.
