Mozambique to play Angola in CHAN 2014 qualifiers
Mozambique is scheduled to play Angola in August to decide their qualification for the African home-based players championship, CHAN 2014, APA learns here Tuesday.
According to media reports in the Mozambican capital Maputo on Tuesday, the national team will play the first leg of the last qualifying round for the continental tournament for home-based players on 9, 10 or 11 August.
The second leg is set for 24 August in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
Before that however, Mozambique and Namibia will clash on 27 or 28 July for the first leg encounter, while the second leg match is scheduled for 3 or 4 August.
Angola (vice champions) are already qualified for the final round of the qualifiers, after twice beating Swaziland by 1-0 in Mbabane and Luanda.
Tunisia are the champions of the second edition held in 2012 in Sudan.
