Rivers Education Quality Assurance bill goes committee stage

In a bid to provide supervision of all public and private schools in Rivers State and also maintain acceptable standard to enhance productivity, a ‘Rivers Education Quality Assurance bill 2012’ has presented to the Rivers House of House Assembly on Tuesday.
Presenting the bill, the Leader of the House, Hon. Chidi Lioyd said the committee had been able to stream line its objective with the national policy on education to maintaining quality assurance in primary and secondary schools in the State.
Its also stated that instructional materials are used in the teaching and learning process in primary and secondary and likewise develop the pupils, students and teachers attitudes
