Somali leader hold talks with UK PM
A statement issue in Nairobi on Tuesday said President Mohamud and the Prime Minister discussions laid heavy emphasis on the security sector and how to best improve the Somali security forces.
The President also briefed the British Premier on the beginning of the new foundation of his Six Pillar Policy which guides his vision for restoring Somalia back to stability.
Finally, the two leaders agreed to jointly host the London Somalia conference, and establish reconciliation as its primary focus.
The London Somalia Conference is a diplomatic conference the UK first hosted in February 2012, aimed at resolving issues that have arisen in Somalia in the wake of the civil war.
