Essomba Thomas was also knocked out of the competition after falling to Paddy Barnes of Ireland in boxing. Totally, the number of Cameroonian athletes eliminated from the competition is 31 out of the 33 who constituted the Olympic team. Just two athletes are left in London with no medal yet.
