Angola: Women’s national handball team to Austria for London 2012 preparatory tournament

Angola’s women’s national handball team is presently in Austria for an international tournament to start today and end May 28. The aim of the tournament is to prepare the participating teams for the London 2012 Olympics coming up July 27. The Angolan ladies shall play against their counterparts from Japan, Czech Republic, South Korea and Austria. According to the assistant coach, Edgar Neto, his girls are well prepared and will be up to task despite the absence of veteran players Nair Almeida and Maria Pedro.
