Angola/Handall :FAAND President wants strengthened partnership with IHF, CAAB
The President of the Angolan Handball Federation(FAAND), Pedro Godinho, he hopes his assciation can reinforce ties with the International Hanball Federation(IHF) and the Confederation of African Handball(CAAB).
Pedro Godinho told a press conference on Monday in Luanda after a working session with the Presidents of the IHF and CAHB, Mustapha Hassan and Aremou Manserou, respectively.
“We provided all possible information to these two international sport entities about our handball in full and we highlighted the Angolan national senior females team as they are most visible ones in international competitions”, Godinho told the press.
The IHF President is set to visit the sport facilities of Primeiro de Agosto today.
His four-day visit would see him visit the the building works of the Arena de Luanda pavilion, which will host the roller-skate hockey world championship on 20-28 September, this year.
He is also expected to hold meetings with the Angolan minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, and FAAND officials.
