Ghana: Results/standings of ECOWAS Games

The second edition of the games of the Economic Community of West Africa States, ECOWAS ended last Friday June 22 with the hosts; Ghana winning the title for the first time. They finished first with 37 medals followed by Nigeria who won 39 medals. Sierra Leone finished at the bottom of the tables with just a bronze medal.

1st Ghana: 37 medals (17 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze)
2nd Nigeria: 39 medals (13 gold, 16 silver and 6 bronze)
3rd Senegal: 7 medals (4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze)
4th Niger: 7 medals (2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze)
5th Ivory Coast: 2 gold medals
6th Benin: 3 medals (1gold and 2 bronze)
7th Togo: 1 gold medal
8th Burkina Faso: 3 bronze medals
9th Liberia: 1 silver medal
10th Mali: 5 bronze medals
11th Sierra Leone: 1 bronze medal
