Handball:Angola presents sports projects to IHF, CAHB
The Angola minister of Youths and Sports Gonçalves Muandumba, has presented the chairmen of the International Handball Federation (IHF), Mustafa Hassan, and the African Handball Confederation (CAHB), Aremou Manserou, Angola’s sports development programmes that runs till 2025.
This was during a working visit in Luanda on Tuesday from theIHF and CAHB top officials.
Minister Muandumba outlined that sports is one of Angola’s major investments towards youth intergration.
“Our first bet focuses on the training of trainers, monitors, sports officials and referees. But we include school sports and have the invaluable cooperation of the IHF, now to support us,” said Muandumba.
He equally told the officials that the country’s first high performance centre will be built in central Huambo province, to mainly benefit the development of handball.
