Kenya: Kiplagat cautions athletes to invest in income-generating projects

Speaking during the Bank of Africa athletes’ mentorship seminar in Iten, Kiplagat said there is a need to enlighten athletes on financial planning and investment. “You are the people who get a lot of money and it is your responsibility to plan how to invest it. It’s embarrassing to start living a dog’s life after retiring just because you didn’t invest well. So plan early for a better future,” said Kiplagat .
