Olympic 800m champion and record holder David Rudisha has promised to make a great comeback from December and reclaim his lost glory.

Rudisha  is  expected to bounce back and start grabbing headlines. He  say’s  missing to be part of the Kenya team that finished  third during last month  IAAF world Championship held in Moscow,Russia was  one of his  greatest setback in his  running career.

The 24 year old got injured after the Adidas Grand prix in New York in May and subsequently missed the IAAF World championships in Moscow.

Rudisha’s coach, Colm O’Connell, revealed the athlete is on road to fully recover after receiving special treatment in Germany.

“Doctors in Germany said it may take three weeks for him to recover and we thought he would have seven weeks of training. From what I have seen and the advice of his doctor he will resume training from December.” The coach said.

During his absence , Ethiopia’s Mohammed Aman won the world title in Moscow last month with the Kenya athletes failing to make it to the Semi finals. His absence  served also as a major blow  for Kenya who missed  a  Gold medal that should  have steered Kenya  to finish second in the medal tally.
