Kenya Taekwondo Association (KTA) have selected 18 exponents to
represent the country at the African Championship set for October in
Madagascar. The exponents were picked from the 20 teams that took part
in trials at the YMCA Hall in Shauri Moyo. The team will proceed to
residential camp in August to prepare for the continental event.

The Kenyan team expects to post good results at the Africa show to
make up for the loses especially after failing to qualify for the
forthcoming Olympics Games in London. Some players in the
Madagascar-bound team will also form the bulk of the squad to
represent Kenya at the World Youth Camp early next year in Korea.

Two clubs, Kilifi and Nairobi, will represent Kenya in Egypt for the
Alexandria International Open fixed for July 4-8. Squad: Finweight:
