Libya: fifth cycling tour to take place on March 2013

The federation also announced that cyclists from the Arab world, Europe and Africa are expected to take part in the race.

The first edition of the race took place in 2007 and was conquered by Libyan-born Ahmed Mohamed Ali while Egypt’s Omar Hassanein won the second edition in 2008. The third edition took place in 2009 and was seized by Libya’s Ahmed Belgacem.

The fourth edition initially scheduled for 2010 was postponed to 2011.
