Madagascar: Stef’Auto volleyball club among Africa’s best five

The ladies of the Malagasy volleyball side Stef’Auto are officially fifth of the ongoing African cup winner’s tournament in Nairobi, Kenya. They defeated DR Congo’s Daring Motema Pembe 3-0 during the placement match yesterday.

Stef’Auto was eliminated at the 1/8 by the Cameroonians of FAB Volleyball club 3-0.

The fifth position according to the president of the Malagasy volleyball federation, Bakoly Clarisse An­drianilana, is quite encouraging as it is the first time that a Malagasy club has taken part in a continental tournament.
