Nigeria: Hat trick WAUG for University of Port Harcourt

This is the third time in a row that they are emerging champions of the WAUG. They swept the 48 out of the 121 medals at stake, garnering 26 silver and 19 bronze medals. University of Benin came second with 23 medals, nine in gold, five in silver and nine in bronze. The Benson Idahosa University followed with eight gold, seven silver and four bronze as the University of Lagos finished fourth with six gold, twelve silver and six bronze. The hosts of the next edition would be the University of Abemey, Calavi in Cotonou, Benin.
