Olympic qualifying tournament: Nigeria yet to raise hopes

After falling to Venezuela 71-69 in their opening of the ongoing FIBA world Olympic qualifying tournament, Nigeria basketball team is gradually missing the way to London. A win this evening against Lithuania will undoubtedly bring back hopes amongst the players who will be making their second attempt in Caracas. On their part, Lithuania will not take it light after being defeated in their opening by the hosts; Venezuela (82-100). The two best teams in each of the four groups will qualify for the semi finals of the tournament that brings together 12 nations.
