The men’s race which was highly competitive saw Tayi finish the finish lap in force with seven seconds ahead of Joel Mmone (1h05’01”) and 15 seconds ahead of Lucky Mohale (1h 05’9”). Tshamano Setone (1h 05’22”) and David Manya (1h 05’50”) equally finished in the Top 5.

In the ladies category, René Kalmer crossed the finish line with one minute twenty seconds ahead of Irvette van Blerk (16’22”) and three minutes ahead of Rutendo
Nyahora (1h18’20”).
