South Africa’s Neethling Candice 28th in Women’s Cross-country final

Neethling tailed the race while two cyclists, Norway Dahle Flesjaa and Colombia Abril Restrepo gave up along the course.

The title went to France’s Bresset Julie (1:30:52) followed by Germany’s Spitz Sabine (1:31:54) and USA’s Gould Georgia (1:32:00).
