Squash/World team : Egypt retains title.


Egypt won for its second time consecutively the world title team by beating England in Germany-Paderborn. Karim Darwish scored the winning point by dominating James Willstrop in the decisive match. With six wins in six games, Egypt finishes unbeaten. Note that Ramy Ashour confirmed its ascendancy over the world number one Nick Matthew by beating him for the second time in a month after a first success in the final of the Australian Open. Beaten by Denmark, South Africa finished fourteenth (out of 32 teams ranked). Also Namibia avoids the wooden spoon by beating Bermuda.
