Swimming: Angolan athletes set for 2013 World Cup debut

The 2013 World Swimming Cup kicked off last Friday in Barcelona, Spain.  Angola’s debut at the event comes up this Sunday with Ana Nobrega and Joao Matias in the butterfly category.

Ana will be competing in the 100m event while Joao embarks on his opening battle in the 50m. Angola will be on board again Wednesday July 31 with Yara Lima in the 200m event while Pedro Pinotes battles the following day in the 200m styles. The Angolans last participation in Barcelona is billed for August 4 and will involve Pinotes in the 400m styles.
