Tanzania dispatch talented swimmer to boost medal tally

The15 year oldswimmer whose travel plans have been financed by Tanzania’s Cosmos Group support is tipped to give the country great honours in the quadrennial event.

Ghadiyali’s addition will take the number of Tanzanian to seven. Tanzania Swimming Association (TSA) secretary general Noel Kihunsi described Ghadiyali as a talented swimmer who stand’s a better chance of making headlines in the global event.

“We had pinned our hopes in one swimmer (Magdalena Moshi), but Ghadiyali is a good addition and we expect a medal from at least one of them,” Kihunsi said.
