The Fistball: the ancestor of volleyball

The fistball in few words:

The fistball is the ancestor of volleyball.
It comes from Germany where it is practiced for several centuries (from the early seventeenth century).
This sport is similar to volleyball, except the fact that it is possible to have a rebound before every striking of ball and need only hit the ball with the hand or arm.

The volleyball will use the principles of fistball (in terms of net and the notion of separation of the ground, the terrain or certain rules). Fistball rules:
The Fistball is a team sport that pits two teams of five players.
Each team must send the ball over the net to put some dificultie for the adversary.
It is possible to have a rebound before every strikes which facilitates the organisation for players.

To win you must get the highest number of points (when you play in fonction of time) or win a round number of sets which depens on the competition .
To win the race can vary from 2 to 5 (a game shall be won by 11pts or 15pts when the difference is only one point).

To return de ball or making passes, use only the point or arm.
