U-18 Afro-Basket Zone 4: DRC beat Red Devils to qualify

The Congolese U-18 national basketball team has qualified for the 2012 Afro-basket championship billed for August in Mozambique or Gabon. The junior leopards obtained their ticket after defeating the Red Devils of Congo/Brazza in both the away and the return legs (65-59, 65-43) qualifiers for the championship. The matches took place under the close watch of the Secretary General at the ministry of sports and leisure, Bathélémy Okito Oleka representing the minister.
