Uganda Rugby Cranes promise fireworks in Nairobi
Head coach Yayiro Kasasa said he was happy with the win adding that he is confident his charges will sparkle in the return leg tie in Nairobi slated for Saturday. The Rugby Cranes have a poor away record and coach Kasasa should work on it. In 2007 Uganda won 29-19 in Kampala but lost 35-15 away in Nairobi. “A win is a win and we have now convinced our fans that the young boys can deliver. We shall strengthen their psychological fitness to handle away games and the Elgon cup will be reclaimed,” stated after the game.
Kasasa argued that the fact that Kenya took possession and territory in the second half but failed score is a manifestation that his men are determined to rewrite history.
