Monaco’s new Senegalese striker Baldé Keita doesn’t want to be compared to the club’s former star Kylian Mbappé.
During his presentation, Lazio former striker said: “I didn’t play with Lazio lately due to transfer reasons but I will be available for AS Monaco. I will work hard to show that I can be helpful to the team”.
He added: “I don’t personally know Kylian Mbappé but I know that he’s an outstanding player. I’m not here to replace him, he has his own style and I got mine. I hope that I will be worth more than 30 million euros in the future. People call me “the phenomenon” because I’ve been working hard throughout my professional career. It’s a great thing to be called this way”.
Baldé Keita could make his first appearance with Monaco this Saturday against Nice.
