DR Congo: N'Zonzi chooses to play for his homeland France

Long chased by the Congolese football federation, Steven N’Zonzi has made his decision to finally play for the French team. The FC Sevilla midfielder prefers to wear the colors of his homeland, rather than his country of origin.

The 28-year-old Andalusian was called by Didier Deschamps for both games against Wales (10 November) and Germany (14 November). This is his first call with the French Roosters.

If he will play these two games, he can always turn around and wear the jersey of the DR Congo after, because they are friendlies, but it is difficult to do so.

The Congolese should turn the page and turn to something else!
