Egypt striker Mohamed Salah delivered an interview to Marca where he reveals the name of his favorite player in the Spanish squad. And it’s not Sergio Ramos! Author of a great season with the Reds, Salah could be a serious candidate for the Golden Ball.

Uncertain for the first match of the 2018 World Cup, which will pit Egypt against Uruguay, because of his injury in the final of the Champions League between Liverpool and Real Madrid, Salah remains confident in his interview.

Asked about his favorite player in the Spanish squad, the Pharaoh replied: “I played with Azpilicueta and Diego Costa at Chelsea, and I’m also playing with Alberto Moreno in Liverpool.”

“I really like Diego Costa”!

“Spain have a lot of great players, but I really like Diego Costa, and when I played with him, he was incredible,” added the former AS Roma player on Atlético Madrid’s Spanish striker.

“As a man he is a very, very good person, and as a player he is really very good too,” said the Egyptian selection leader on the Roja striker.

Today, Mohamed Salah arrived in Russia for the World Cup and resumed training before Egypt’s first match against Uruguay. Good news for all the Egyptian people, who expect a lot from their star.
