The French authorities have raised the vito against the international friendly match between Portugal and Cameroon, which was scheduled at the Stade de Lille. Given the quality of the programming, the French did not want to see the this game to shadow the match that the national french team will play at the same day. So, the meeting was rescheduled in Lieira Portugal, the same 5 March 2014.

Dr. Magalhaes Pessoa stadium in Lieira which was inaugurated on 15 November 2003 and has a capacity of 24,000 seats should welcome this friendly match.

This is also an opportunity for the Portuguese to make a fitting tribute to their captain and celebrate his ballon d’or.
