Atlético Madrid‘s Antoine Griezmann admitted that he didn’t reach Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo‘s level yet. However, the French striker believes that he’s on the right path to become one of the best players in the world.
Griezmann told “L’Equipe” magazine: “I still have a long way to reach Messi and Ronaldo’s level. The starting point is to win trophies. Both of them succeeded to do that and to maintain their levels”.
He added: “As I said in the past, I want to have the same level as theirs. I feel that I’m getting closer to that. I hope that I will be able to maintain this performance”.
The 25-year-old player is considered as one of the best players in the world especially due to his outstanding performance with his Spanish club and the French national team as well.
