Football is all about pleasure and great moments offered by genius players and great teams and smart coaches, unfortunately in football not everyone can be awarded with everything, even legends failed to win one of the most prestigious club level trophees, the UEFA Champions League.
Gianluigi Buffon: qualified as the best goalkeepr of all times, and is surely one of the best goalkeepers to ever play football, and we are lucky to enjoy some of his playing years. The Italian legend has lifted 22 trophees during his 22 years playing career, but has lost both of Champions League finals he played.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: the Swedish best of all times has won 31 trophies during his career, including 13 league titles, but he has never reached a UCL final with all the teams he played for, despite being teams in the calibre of Barcelona, Juvenuts, Inter Milan, AC Mila, and Ajax..
Ronaldo (El Phenomeno): The Brazilian Ronaldo, or the Real Ronaldo as his fans call him, is arguably the best forward of all times in football, and one of the deadliest of all. He won 19 trophies, including 2 World Cups, but could never manage to win a UCL title.
Fabio Cannavaro: One of the games all time greatest defenders, leading Italy to lift the world cup in 2006 and winning the Ballon d’Or that year, he unfortunatly couldn’t manage to win a UCL title
Patrick Vieira: He is one of the best midfielders of his time, and one of France’s pillars during the time of glory of Les Bleus, but unfortunatley couldn’t get any closer to winning the UCL title
