Mohamed Salah scored his 10 goal in Premier League this season in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday. Egyptien striker equals a club record set by Daniel Sturridge in 2013.
“I love this player,” said Jurgen Klopp to BT Sport, “how can we not speak all the time after the game about him?”
Salah’s goal was his 15th in all competitions since leaving AS Roma in a £36.9 million deal in June, despite having only made 20 appearances.
He is the Premier League‘s top goalscorer before Harry Kane (nine). As detailed by Liverpool statistician Ged Rea, Salah is now the joint-fastest player to score 10 for the Reds since the Premier League‘s inception in 1992.
