Sadio Mane torments Man City with a hattrick

Senegal international striker, Sadio Mane, scored a hat-trick for Southampton in their 4-2 win over Manchester City on Sunday.

Thanks to that hattrick, Mane reached double figure in the English Premier League for the second time in a row. It was also the 24-year-old’s second hattrick for the club following his quick-fire treble against Aston Villa last year.

After the game, the Senegal forward said he’s happy he helped restoring the the Saints’ confidence with his goals.

I am happy to score three goals, I am a striker and every striker would like to score for the team,” Mane told the clubs official website.

The most important thing is the performance of the team and I think we played great football – from the beginning until the end, and I am happy with the performance.

We made a fast start, we gave our best for the fans and the club, and we won the game.
