The Lions crowned kings of Africa

The Lions of Cameroon have won the final of the AFCON 2017 against the Pharaohs of Egypt, to bring their 5th African trophy home in a wonderful game.

The Egyptians started the game very well and multiplied their attacks creating some opportunities and almost scoring on many occasions.

The Lions didn’t stay without reacting, they pulled their weapons and started firing at El Hadary’s cage from long distance, without being able to score.

We had to wait untill the 27th minute to see the opener of this game for the Egyptian side, through Elneny, who fired a powerful strike straight to the net from the left side of the keeper after a series of passes with his teammates.

The first half ended on favor of the Egyptians, but this lead didn’t take so long as N’Koulou scored the equalizer in the 59th minute.

The Egyptians were close to score in many occasions, but they lacked on the finishing.

in the 88th minute, Aboubakar made a worldclass control and shot the ball towards the goal, scoring a stunner and leaving El Hadary watching.

Cameroon is crowned for the 5th time on History, and beat Egypt for the first time on the final of the AFCON after 2 defeats before.
