Ramy Bensebaini is one of the best young Algerian talents in the French league. The player started his career in Paradou FC in Algeria and talked to Orange Football Club about his first steps in the top level, his ambitions and his dreams with the Algerian national team.
The 21-year-old defender came to France last summer and succeeded to impose himself in Montpellier‘s squad. Bensebaini didn’t hide his happiness after being selected by Algeria’s coach to play against Tanzania last November.
He also revealed that he hopes to represent his country in the biggest international competition in 2018.
Concerning his idols, Ramy admitted that players like Madjid Bougherra, Rafik Halliche and Antar Yahia are the models to be followed by any Algerian player. He also added that Rabah Madjer and Lakhdhar Belloumi are still the two best Algerian players of all times!
To conclude, Ramy Bensebaini said that he lost his place in Montpellier’s squad since Frédéric Hantz’s arrival. However, the young player is determined to prove that he deserves to have a permanent place in the French club’s squad.
