Vincent Enyeama will miss Lille’s next game in the French league to attend his mother’s funeral. The Nigerian goalkeeper traveled last weekend to his hometown to support his family after hearing the sad news. Consequently Lille will play their next game against Nantes without their first goalkeeper.
Enyeama could even miss the second game against Montpellier that will be played in the same week. Lille’s coach Herve Renard said to the press concerning his goalkeeper: “There were some changes this weekend that we didn’t expect. Eneyeama went through high family pressures that’s why we gave him the green light to travel to Nigeria to support his family”.
