Portugal coach Fernando Santos has unveiled the list of 23 players selected for the  World Cup 2018. Nani and Eder, two of the heroes of Euro 2016, are not part of it, as are the central defender of Olympique Marseille Rolando.

After revealing an expanded list at first, Fernando Santos unveiled this week the final selection of 23 Portuguese players who will participate in the 2018 World Cup.

If the main trimmers are present, like Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, Bruno Alves, Ricardo Quaresma or Joao Moutinho, the technician has reserved a few surprises. The hero of the Euro 2016 final, Eder, was not selected, as was the very experienced Nani.

In trouble at FC Barcelona, ​​André Gomes is also out of the group, just like his teammate in Catalonia Nelson Semedo.
