The last Manchester Derby ended on a (0-0) score between the neighbors. A result that represented a real disappointment for both clubs especially that they’re seeking to get a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Manchester City‘s Yaya Toure talked about the Red Devils ‘ performance in that game. In an interview published by “FourFourtwo” magazine, the Ivorian midfielder said: “Manchester Derby changed a lot in the last years. United used to dominate all the games. Seeing their fans celebrating after each game means that Manchester City became closer to them”.
Yaya added: “There’s no doubt that Manchester United’s history and achievements are greater than ours but we’re coming! They know that we became a tough opponent. They made a lot of effort to defend and to use counter-attacks in the last game”.
